The Watermelon Sugarbaby is a small, sweet, and compact variety of watermelon, perfect for smaller gardens or containers. Planting Instructions:

Sowing Time: Late spring to early summer (after last frost)

Position: Full sun

Soil: Well-drained, fertile soil (preferably sandy loam)

Sowing Depth: 2-3cm deep

Spacing: 90-100cm apart (watermelons need space to spread)

Germination Time: 7-14 days

Harvest Time: 70-90 days from sowing (when melons sound hollow when tapped)

Growing Tips:

Watermelon Sugarbaby thrives in warm weather and should be planted in an area that receives full sun for at least 6-8 hours per day.

Keep the soil consistently moist during germination, and water regularly as the plants grow, but avoid overhead watering.

Once established, watermelon vines spread, so make sure they have enough space or grow them in large containers.

Fertilize lightly with a balanced, organic fertiliser during the growing season.

Harvest when the melons are fully ripe, indicated by a change in sound when tapped and the tendril closest to the melon turning brown.
