Aster Queen Mixed Seeds – Callistephus chinensis

A beautiful annual producing a rich array of colourful double flowers in shades of pink, red, white, purple, and lavender. A prolific early bloomer with strong stems, Aster Queen Mixed is an excellent choice for garden beds, borders, pots, and cut flower arrangements.

Each packet contains approximately 300 seeds.

Planting Instructions:

Sowing Time: Spring to early summer

Position: Full sun to partial shade

Soil: Light, fertile, well drained soil enriched with compost

Sowing Depth: 5mm deep

Spacing: 30cm apart

Germination Time: 10 to 14 days

Flowering Time: Approximately 16 weeks from sowing

Growing Tips:

Keep soil consistently moist during germination but avoid waterlogging.

Water well during hot weather and maintain even soil moisture.

Apply compost or well rotted organic matter around plants to help retain moisture.

Provide good air circulation around plants to reduce the risk of fungal problems.

Remove spent flowers regularly to encourage further flowering.

Excellent as a cut flower, with strong stems and long lasting blooms.

Suitable for garden beds, borders, pots and cut flower gardens.
