Dill Seeds – Anethum graveolens
A most versatile herb with delicate, feathery leaves and attractive yellow flower heads. Dill is delicious with fish and salads and is a great addition to the home herb garden. An easy to grow annual reaching up to 90cm.
Each packet contains approximately 500 seeds.
Planting Instructions:
Sowing Time: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter
Position: Full sun in a sheltered position
Soil: Well drained soil
Sowing Depth: 5mm
Spacing: Sow in clumps approximately 30cm apart
Germination Time: 10 to 14 days
Harvest: Pick leaves as required and seed heads when they turn brown, but before fully ripe.
Growing Tips:
Keep the soil moist during germination and growth.
Pick fresh leaves as required for the best flavour.
Allow seed heads to develop if you want to collect your own seed.
After harvesting, dry seeds thoroughly and store in an airtight container.
