Everlasting Daisy – Mixed Flower Seeds - Botanical Name: Xerochrysum bracteatum
100 Seeds
Our Australian native Everlasting Daisy mixed seeds also known as Paper Daisy’s, and Strawflower are a short-lived perennial that grows up to 90cm. These seeds produce large daisies with golden orange centres and papery petals in various colours, including red, pink, orange, yellow, and white. Perfect for native gardens, containers, beds, borders, coastal areas, and rockeries, these low-maintenance plants are tolerant of poor soil and drought conditions. They flower from spring to autumn, attracting native bees and hoverflies. They also make excellent cut or dried flowers that last indefinitely.

How To Grow
Choose a location with dry and well-drained soil. Once everlasting daisies are established, they don't need much water unless the soil is dry about 10 cm below the surface. Water deeply early in the morning or late afternoon, avoiding the leaves.
Expect the plants to flower in approximately 80 days.
After flowering, prune back the plants to encourage strong new growth. Cut individual stems just above a set of lower leaves.
Deadhead flowers regularly during the growing season to encourage more flower production.
If using for cut flowers, cut the longest stems possible, remove the lower leaves, and place the stems immediately in water.
