How To Grow
Start by raising seedlings indoors or in a greenhouse before transplanting them into the garden.
Sow the seeds at a depth of 6mm in seed trays or pots filled with seed-raising mix.
When transplanting seedlings into the garden, space them approximately 40cm apart to allow for proper growth and airflow.
Choose a location in full sun with well-drained soil that retains moisture.
Note: Protect young Hollyhock plants from slugs and snails, which can cause damage. Consider staking taller plants to provide support as they grow. If desired, Hollyhocks can be grown as perennials by removing spent flowers and cutting back the foliage after flowering.
